Pittsburgh NYI Teen Camp: June 14 – 19, 2021

Every summer, teens from across the district come together for one of the biggest district events of the year. Teen Camp is an entire week filled with interactive games, energetic worship, and engaging messages.

At camp, students will meet for morning and evening worship services, small group discussions, and late-night fun. Afternoons are full of church game competitions and free time to play gaga ball, basketball, sand volleyball, soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and swimming (just to name a few).

This year’s theme is “The Big House” and the accompanying scripture is Isaiah 41:7: “To open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness.”

Teen camp is open to all teens who will have completed the 6th – 12th grades by the start of camp (June 14th).

Info for Parents & Youth Workers
We will be staying at the district Center in Butler, PA. Your teen(s) will need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, all the bathroom stuff, towels, clothes to get dirty in, tennis shoes, a modest swimsuit (one-piece for girls & shorts style for guys), a Bible, and a pen.

Make sure your teen(s) have enough clothes to wear because if it is not lightening, we will continue our outdoor events.

Feel free to send mail to your teens during camp. To note, letters from mom with gushy messages on the outside of the envelope are perfect! Mail letters to:

Drop off: Monday (June 14th) 12:00 pm – 1:15 pm.
Pick Up: Saturday (June 19th) 2:00 pm.

Finally, and most importantly, organize a time of prayer for our camp. God wants to know if you want your teens transformed.

All participants will have to adhere to our District Center’s Covid-19 guidelines which include signing their “Assumption of Risk and Waiver Liability Relating to Coronavirus/Covid-19”, having their temperature taken, wearing a mask, and social distancing.

Cost for Registration

Early bird special – $150. Register by May 22.
Regular Registration – $170. Register May 23 – June 4.
Late Registration – $185. Register after June 4.

Please note, to guarantee that you will receive a camp-themed t-shirt you need to register by May 22.
