Rev. Kerry Willis
Evening Speaker

Kerry Willis is a native of North Carolina’s coastline, a son of a fisherman and a fisherman for the Son. He pastored one local church for 24 years, Harrison-burg First Church of the Nazarene in Virginia. Pastor Kerry has spoken in the Middle East, Germany, Guatemala, and across the United States. In 2018, Pastor Kerry was elected as District Superintendent of the Philadelphia District Church of the Nazarene. He now oversees churches in Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey. He now lives once again along the shore in Cape May, New Jersey. The theme of his ministry is “Presence Matters Most — No Invisible People.” Project Galilee was birthed in his heart in The Holy Land. Pastor Kerry married Kim in 1980 and they have a son, Grayson, and a daughter, Allison, who is married to Joshua. Lucy is an adopted Treeing Walker Coonhound that is their constant companion. He will share the messages for the Worship Services – Suns. 10:45am & 4pm ; Mon.-Sat. at 7 pm.

Kerry loves to lead yearly “Hearts Aflame Discipleship Journeys” to the Holy Land and has made ten pilgrimages there to date. Kerry says, “Walking where Jesus walked with Jesus walking inside of you is indescribably life-changing. Kerry founded “Project Gali-lee”, a seaside gathering of Christ-lovers designed to deepen devotion for Jesus and whatever He desires.

The son, grandson, and great-grandson of commercial fishermen, Kerry calls the Outer Banks of North Carolina “home” and continues to carry on the family trade — He’s a “Fisher” of souls. In his latest book from Beacon Hill Press titled Relational Leadership – What I Learned From a Fisherman About Leading a Church, Kerry writes, “I am most grateful to be the son of a fisherman and a fisherman for The Son.” Kerry believes the one thing that people are most desperately looking for is to see ordinary people in extraordinary love-relationships with Jesus Christ and one another. There’s no vision above being an answer to the prayer of Jesus in John 17 — that we would be one. Kerry’s heartbeat is best defined in two words — Deo Volente, Latin for “As God Wills,” or “Whatever God Wants”
